The goal of this scholarship fund is to award as many scholarships as possible to young persons who are college bound in the local community of (Spotsylvania, Fredericksburg, Stafford, King George, Culpeper, and Caroline) to help them attend and stay in school.  Informing them that “knowledge is power and to continue to reach for the stars.”

Eligibility Requirements:

High School Students:

• Students must be actively involved in their church ministries and or some form of community service. High School students must be graduating from an accredited secondary educational institution.
• Must have applied and received admissions to a technical school, junior college, four-year college/ university (copy of admissions letter will need to be provided).
• Must have a 2.5 or higher GPA (official transcript should be sealed from High School).
• Three (3) letters of recommendations (only one letter will be accepted from a family
  member).
• Recommendations may come from: school counselor, teacher, principal, employer, pastor or community leader, etc.). All letters must be signed.
• Small (3×5) or (4×6) picture and a brief biography
• Copy of validation letter (enrollment verification letter with school seal to confirm that student is enrolled at stated college/university is required).

Returning College Students:

(Up to age 25 and obtaining an Undergraduate Degree)

• Must be a full-time student returning to a technical school, junior college, four-year college/university.
• Must have a cumulative GPA of a 2.5 or higher (official transcript should be sealed from college/university).
• Three (3) letters of recommendations (only one letter will be accepted from a family member).
  Recommendations may come from: school counselor, teacher, principal, employer, pastor or community leader, etc.). All letters must be signed.
• Small picture (3×5) or (4×6) and a brief biography.
• Copy of validation letter (enrollment verification letter with school seal to confirm that student is enrolled at stated college/university is required).
